Honor the traditions of Día de Muertos at the final Night Shift of the season at Pike Place Market!

Presented in partnership with Día de Muertos PNW, Downtown Art Walk, El Centro de la Raza, The Rabbit Box, and the Seattle Office of Economic Development, this special event honors Día de Muertos while celebrating Seattle’s vibrant arts community and the diverse cultures that make our city unique. As one of Seattle’s oldest and most beloved gathering places, Pike Place Market welcomes people from all backgrounds to connect through art, music, food, and shared experiences.

Explore Pike Place Market as it comes alive with local artists, live music, mariachi, folklórico performances, cultural displays and more! Families can enjoy face painting, Lucha Libre, and community altars that invite reflection, remembrance, and connection.

At 6:30 p.m., a Día de Muertos parade kicks off featuring dozens of Catrinas, dancing devils, caballos bailadores, and more. The procession will travel through the Pike Place Market Historic District along Lenora Street and 1st Avenue before making its way into the Market on Pike Place.

Join us for a day of art, music, food, culture, and community as we honor Mexican traditions, remember loved ones, and celebrate the connections that bring Seattle together.
