Pike Box CSA Program
The Pike Box CSA is a food subscription box. It’s an easy way for Seattle workers and residents to receive a weekly supply of seasonal fruits and vegetables, eggs, and flowers while supporting local farmers.

As part of our mission to incubate small businesses, Pike Place Market offers an Artisan & Prepared Foods Program to local independent businesses that are not already operating within the Market.

Pike Place Market is proud to extend the Meet the Producer tradition by bringing local farmers and food vendors to downtown Seattle workers and residents. This past year, we operated three Express Farmers Markets throughout the city.

Food Assistance Programs
Pike Place Market is an inclusive environment where anyone can shop regardless of income. To make groceries more affordable, some Market grocers and all farmers accept national and citywide food assistance programs.

Educational Resources
For the 2021/2022 school year, we will not be offering educational tours. However, teachers can still access several online resources, including our free digital book, for integrating Pike Place Market education into their classroom and lesson plans.
Educational ResourcesPreserving Farmland and Developing the Local Food Economy
In order to maintain our heritage as a vibrant farmers market, Pike Place Market recognizes the importance of making sure farmland is available for generations to come, and that farmers can operate sustainable businesses. To support this we partnered with the City of Seattle and King County to convene the “King County Farms and Food Roundtable” to identify key recommendations to preserve farmland and increase market and distribution opportunities for local small and mid-sized farmers in King County.
