Rent the Goodwin Library

The Goodwin Library offers spectacular views of the iconic Pike Place Market looking north as well as the Public Market Center Clock & Sign. The room itself is 250 square feet and includes a large conference table with seating for 14 adults. It is the perfect room to impress your guests for an upcoming board retreat, team meeting, or stakeholder listening session.

The Goodwin Library is located on the third floor of the Economy Market Building (Map It!)

The space is available to use from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Rates are $250 for a half day (minimum 4 hours) and $500 for a full day, with a 20% discount available for Pike Place Market tenants.

Public Wifi (see details below under amenities), access to restrooms, and use of the video display are part of the room rental.

Insurance and permitting information (if applicable), General Conditions, and an Event Agreement will be supplied after the initial application is submitted and accepted.

Room Rates

What Amenities Are Provided

Public Wifi up to 5 Mbps per device is available. WiFi provided without guarantee of support or level of service.

Access to restrooms and use of the video display are part of the room rental.

Is Catering Provided?

Catering is not provided in the room rental agreement but outside food can be brought into the room. If food service is offered during the event, the licensee is responsible for returning the contracted space to the condition in which it was provided.

Prohibited Items

Helium balloons, glitter, confetti, real flame candles, propane, deep fryers, and/or open flames (with the exception of catering stenosis) are prohibited in the Goodwin Library. Signs or posters cannot be hung with nails or tape other than painter’s tape or 3M command strips.

Are Pets Allowed?

Live animals are not allowed in the Goodwin Library unless approved in writing by the Pike Place Market PDA Commercial Office. Service animals individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability, are allowed.

I Lost the Bathroom Key

Access to bathrooms are included in the rental fee. If the key is lost during your reservation, a $200 fee will be charged for each unreturned or lost key.
