SEATTLE, WA – Pike Place Market wants to thank and celebrate Seattle residents at the 4th annual Local Love Day happening Saturday, February 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This beloved celebration is designed especially for locals and provides the opportunity to rediscover and reconnect with the best the Market has to offer.
Seattleites are the beating heart of the Soul of Seattle, and Local Love Day is an ideal opportunity to rediscover the vibrant culture, one-of-a-kind businesses, and creative community that make Pike Place Market uniquely yours. Festivities include live music, exclusive Market Coupon Books, free historical Market tours, and live art demonstrations.
Local Love Day Activities:

Special Shopping Offers: The first 500 visitors who spend $50 or more during the event can redeem their receipts for an exclusive Market Coupon Book*. The coupon book includes great deals and discounts from 50 Market businesses and vendors, with coupons valid through the month of March. Bring receipts or proof of purchase to the Event Information Tent in front of the Public Market Center Clock & Sign to receive your coupon book.
Free Market Tours: Join the Friends of the Market in exploring the history and hidden corners of Pike Place Market in a free, hour-long tour. Tours will run every hour from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sign-ups begin day-of at the Friends of the Market tent near the Clock & Sign.
Live Busker Music: Buskers are integral to Pike Place Market’s bustling and lively atmosphere. Experience the creative incubator of the busker program with a packed lineup of Market newcomers performing on the Farm Truck Stage located in front of the Public Market Center Clock & Sign.

Live Painting: Reconnect with the artistic component of the Market’s “Meet the Producer” motto with live painting demonstrations by Art Stall Gallery artists in the Atrium. Watch as artists Kim Caldwell and Autumn Kegley paint their creative interpretations of what it means to be a Seattle local.
