4. Eighth Generation

Remembrance Wool Blanket $225
Rainbow Corn Enamel Pin $12

Created by Two-Spirit artist and activist Geo Neptune (Passamaquoddy), the newest addition to Eighth Generation’s wool blanket collection incorporates the Wabanaki “tree of life” double curve, representing the circle of life and their creation story. Mirroring the design to illustrate the duality felt within the artist, Geo crafts a beautifully warm and purposeful piece fit for any home.

If you’re on the hunt for additions to your Pride outfit, pick up a Rainbow Corn Enamel Pin accessory. Based on Geo’s original black ash and sweetgrass basket designed to look like a rainbow ear of corn, it’s representative of a moment when they began to craft their own original style of visibly queer art, pivoting from the commercially accepted forms.
