Ritu Tilwani is the designer-printer-maker behind Dot and Dimension. She creates hand-carved linocut prints in her little home studio in Seattle.
A scuba diver, marine biology enthusiast, and an ocean advocate, she finds inspiration for her prints from the ocean. Most of her work is based on underwater pictures taken by her and her husband when they go diving together.
Working with a monochrome palette, Ritu loves the challenge of creating depth and dimension while working with a single tone of color. She aspires to create art that is, “Striking yet calm, graphic yet organic at the same time”.
