Local Love Month Kicks Off This Saturday, Feb 1, During Local Appreciation Day
SEATTLE, WA – Pike Place Market is excited to announce the launch of Market Bingo, a new interactive activity that celebrates Local Love Month. The game officially kicks off this Saturday, February 1, during the 3rd Annual Local Appreciation Day, a special event dedicated to honoring the community that supports the Market year-round.
From February 1 through the end of the month, Market Bingo will guide locals on an adventure across the Market’s nine acres, inviting participants to complete fun challenges, rediscover Market treasures, and enter to win incredible prizes.
How to Play Market Bingo
- Pick Up Your Bingo Card: Bingo cards are available online at PikePlaceMarket.org/Bingo or at the Market Information Booth on Pike St & 1st Ave.
- Complete Challenges: Each square on the card represents an activity, such as snapping a selfie with a Market mural, visiting a new shop, or discovering handmade treasures.
- Submit Your Card: Once you complete five challenges in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), submit your card with photos of the completed tasks to enter the contest.
Prizes
There are multiple chances to win throughout February:
- Weekly Winners: Every week, one participant will win a $100 Market Gift Card, redeemable at over 120 Market businesses, from shops and restaurants to farm tables.
- Golden Local Grand Prize: At the end of February, one lucky participant who completes at least two Bingos will win the Golden Local Grand Prize—a $250 Market Gift Card!
