Love in the Market
February is our time to show LOVE for our locals — we shared the joy and gave away 400 tote bags, held a scavenger hunt with almost 150 participants, and other fun activities!
25th Annual Daffodil Day
We handed out 8,000 daffodils to ring in the first day of spring and support our local flower farmers!
14th Annual Flower Festival & Mom’s Market Day
Over 40 tents lined Pike Place with tens of thousands of fresh blooms, ushering in our celebratory weekend of moms and more!
Summer Night Market
We welcomed over 3,000 visitors to enjoy our special evening market celebrating PRIDE month with live music, performers, handmade goods, and delicious food!
Sunset Supper
Pike Place Market Foundation‘s biggest annual fundraiser was a hit this summer as it rang in 40 years of serving our community. 1,700 guests, 227 volunteers, and 115 vendors among many other supporting contributors put on a memorable evening of great food, drinks, and entertainment while raising nearly $600,000 for the Market’s essential services!
Harvest Festival
A massive pumpkin weighing over 500 pounds was transformed into a Market scene by master carver Russ Leno at our fall celebration. During this Market-wide event we also celebrated the 40th anniversary of our Market Foundation, who brought home 40 “Pigs on Parade” to commemorate the special occasion.
The 37th Annual Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition
We welcomed 20 caroling groups and nearly 10,000 people spreading holiday cheer and fundraising for our Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank.
27th Annual Magic in the Market & Santa Photos
We shared over 700 Santa pictures with families, friends, and furry pals of all ages to commemorate their special Market holiday over three weekends of fun!
Programs We Launched
New Market Website
While it launched at the tail end of 2021, we officially debuted our new website this past February. Our directory and other resources continue to grow and become more comprehensive and as up-to-date as possible, keeping you informed on our 500+ small businesses, events, operations, and much more!
Interactive Market Map
For the first time ever, Pike Place Market launched an interactive map to provide our visitors with step-by-step directions to businesses, restrooms, attractions, and more! After over a year in development, it premiered in June, just in time for the busy summer season. Improvements continue to better serve our community’s wayfinding needs.
