Explore 500+ Market businesses and enjoy new outdoor seating alongside 21+ sips starting June 5!

Sip and Savor launches June 5! This new seasonal outdoor alcohol service pilot, running during select hours through Labor Day weekend, allows Market shoppers to shop, dine, and enjoy 21+ beverages throughout designated areas of Pike Place Market.

Peruse handmade crafts, shop for specialty ingredients, taste cuisines from around the world, then enjoy a relaxing break in the sunshine with a beer, wine, or cocktail at any of the six outdoor seating areas along Pike Place and the MarketFront overlooking the waterfront. 23 Market businesses are available to purchase from where shoppers can grab their favorite brew or cocktail to-go, and walk about Pike Place or find a seat to enjoy it at any of the public picnic tables with red umbrellas.

How Sip & Savor Works

The program will kick off Friday, June 5, and run Fridays through Sundays from 12 – 5 pm through Labor Day Weekend. Visitors participating in the Sip & Savor program will be IDed and receive a wristband. Participating businesses will sell beverages in designated cups, allowing for roaming staff to ensure responsible enjoyment of the program.

Sip & Savor is designed to create a more flexible and inclusive experience for all. Whether you’re visiting with friends, exploring with family (adults 21+ participating responsibly), or simply looking for a more casual alternative to a traditional bar setting, it’s a new way to enjoy the Market’s vibrant atmosphere while supporting the small businesses that make it so special.

More Places to Sip, Savor & Stay a While

The rollout of Sip & Savor coincides with the return of the beloved outdoor public seating across the Market for the summer season. Enjoy a beautiful summer afternoon with your beverage of choice and fantastic bites from Market eateries at the 50 additional picnic tables now installed along Pike Place and the MarketFront.

Supporting Local is Always at our Core

The goal is simple: give locals a reason to rediscover the Market and invite visitors to linger a little longer — shopping, dining, and connecting along the way.

From a Rachel’s Ginger Beer Moscow mule to an El Borracho margarita or a Prosecco float from Shug’s Soda Fountain, there are plenty of ways to sip and savor as you explore. Start your experience at any of the participating businesses below:

Experience the Market Like Never Before This Summer!

The pilot will also enhance upcoming summer events like the Welcoming the World Night Market on June 18 and the World Cup Watch Party on June 19, offering additional ways for visitors to enjoy the Market experience.

Visitors will also notice a more open and walkable atmosphere on Pike Place, as there will be less vehicle traffic during the program’s operating hours. This is due to the ongoing 2026 street management plan that limits unauthorized vehicles from driving through the Market. Learn more details on the plan here.
