Invest in a farm-to-table subscription to empower farmers rebuilding after unprecedented flooding impacts.
SEATTLE, WA – Pike Place Market has launched its PIKE BOX CSA program for the 2026 season! Perfect for Seattleites who want to support small businesses and connect directly to their food sources, a PIKE BOX membership makes purchasing fresh, local produce from the Market a breeze.
Not only does a PIKE BOX membership bring healthy food options to subscribers’ fingertips, but it is also one of the most direct ways to help local farmers. This year, the program is especially impactful for our farmers hit the hardest by the devastating floods that occurred across the state in late 2025.
Your Membership Matters More Than Ever
Each PIKE BOX purchased directly benefits the family-owned farms working to rebuild after catastrophic flooding that caused massive property damage, lost inventory, and soil degradation, resulting in tens of thousands of dollars in repairs and replacements. Read Yeng Lee’s story to understand the scope of damage and the long road to recovery many farmers are facing.
The PIKE BOX CSA supports Market farmers by guaranteeing sales before the harvest season. This helps small family farmers cover the upfront costs they face when purchasing seeds, hoophouses, and other equipment. The program also alleviates the administrative labor of managing a CSA, allowing farmers to focus on cultivating their crops and supplying fresh, healthy produce to the community.
What’s In a PIKE BOX?
Members receive a weekly selection of produce and other fresh goods sourced from more than 40 Pike Place Market farmers along with recipes, storage tips, and easy preparation ideas to make the most of their fruits and vegetables.
Customizable subscription options include a full or half share of produce with add-ons including weekly shares of flowers, dairy, meat, pasture-raised eggs, and new this year, salad and/or bi-weekly organic egg shares.
Share the PIKE BOX Love
Also new this year is the “Sponsor A Share” add-on. Pike Place Market believes that everyone deserves access to fresh, local food – every “Sponsor A Share” purchased will provide produce shares to our senior and low-income Market residents and community members. Pike Place Market pledges to match donation funds up to $12,500, meaning every dollar donated will be doubled and distributed directly to recipients.
