SEATTLE – This Mother’s Day weekend, celebrate the role models in your life and spring coming into full swing. Join us for our 14th Annual Flower Festival and Mom’s Market Day! The renewed season of sunshine invites a vibrant array of fresh blooms from our farmers. Bouquets will be bursting with tulips, daffodils, irises, and the season’s favorite: peonies!

Make it a day of it with your loved ones and shop for the perfect gift for mom at our small businesses, browse the Crafts Market, and share a meal at our award-winning restaurants. Enjoy live music entertainment from Market buskers and activities that are fun for the whole family. Come for the flowers, but stay for the memorable festivities!

Mom’s Market Day
Saturday, May 7, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

On Saturday, join us at Pike Place Market for a day of fun in the sun with a range of activities. Whether you’re a newcomer or a long-time Market goer, there is always something new to discover across our nine-acre district.

Special Shopping Offer
Support our small businesses, vendors and farmers on Saturday, May 7th and get a special gift from us! Shoppers that spend $75 or more* at Market businesses, craft tables and farmers will receive a free, custom-designed flower tote, perfect for securing your bouquet while making your way around the Market. Bring all receipts from your purchases to the Information Tent located under the Market Clock & Sign to collect your gift.
*Combined sales from multiple locations are allowed. You must bring your receipts to the Information Tent between 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 7th. Available while supplies last.

Temporary Tattoo Parlor
Make your mark on this event and stop by the North Pavilion in the Crafts Market to enjoy a free temporary tattoo studio that’s fun for all ages! Temporary tattoos will be available in delightful designs created by talented Market artists Dan Gregory and Rosie Ferne. Commemorate the moment and snap a photo in front of our specially themed backdrop designed by artist Sally Simmons.

Scavenger Hunt
Participate in this special market-wide scavenger hunt and enter to win a special Market gift card! Pick up a guide map card from the event table in the Atrium, and make your way through the 10+ stops located across our historic district. Return the completed card and enter for a chance to be one of three winners chosen for a range of gift card prizes!

Live Music
Market buskers will perform live music on the farm truck under the Clock & Sign throughout the day between 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Market showcases the best local talent ranging from acoustic, jazz, blues, and more! Sing and dance along with loved ones as you take in the sights and sounds of our lively streets.

Bring your mom to the MarketFront Pavilion to snap a photo with Billie the Piggy Bank, who will be showered with flowers for the day! Spin the wheel at the Pike Place Market Foundation booth to learn about the Market’s healthy community model and enter to win a Mom’s Day Gift Basket from charitable partners. Take home your very own Market pig pin when you support the Foundation.

14th Annual Flower Festival
May 8 – 9, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

This annual tradition celebrates the amazing flowers that grow abundantly right here in the Pacific Northwest. Over 40 tents will line Pike Place featuring flower farmers from across western Washington. Arrangements will be overflowing with color and fragrance, the perfect way to show your love to those who mean the most this Mother’s Day.

Easy Parking Accessibility
Parking is available in the Public Market parking garages with two entrances at 1531 & 1901 Western Avenue. Both offer direct elevator access to the Market, entering at the MarketFront Pavilion and Desimone Bridge entrance to the Main Arcade. The garage has over 800 covered parking spots and nine electric charging stations. Learn more here.
