Pike Place Market Restaurants Open on Christmas Eve

Alibi Room – open from 11:30am – 6pm on Christmas Eve
The Alibi Room is across from the world-famous Gum Wall in Post Alley. Its exposed brick and wood beams give it a cozy vibe, perfect for celebrating Christmas Eve. On the menu: brick-oven pizzas, salads, and cocktails.

Can Can Culinary Cabaret – open from 9:30am – 6pm on Christmas Eve
The Can Can Culinary Cabaret will have a special presentation of their Wonderland show to celebrate the holiday. Shows are 2pm & 5pm. Get your tickets! Or grab brunch or holiday cocktails at The Dressing Room: Bistro and Bar By Can Can. This standalone restaurant is next to the Can Can Culinary Cabaret, and has all the charm of being at one of their live shows. On the menu: French-inspired Pacific Northwest fare. Their French Toast is out of this world!

El Borracho – open from 12pm – 5pm on Christmas Eve
El Borracho is one of the best places in Seattle to get your Mexican food fix and they’re now serving 100% plant-based Mexican food. On the menu: massive tacos, zesty spiced chipotle “chikin”, or jackfruit cochinitas — all fresh, vegetarian takes on classic Mexican dishes.

Le Pichet – open for lunch on Christmas Eve
Le Pichet is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat and have a quiet moment. This neighborhood-style restaurant and cafe was inspired by the lifestyle of France. Think good food and wine! Recommended menu item: signature slow-roasted chicken for two.

Lowell’sopen 8am – 3pm on Christmas Eve

Enjoy three floors of scenic views overlooking the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains alongside delicious brunch options at Lowell’s. With fresh seafood daily, options like the Dungeness Crab Benedict and Alderwood Smoked King Salmon Scramble are a no-brainer.

Maximilien – open for a special Christmas Eve dinner
Maximilien Chef Potvin is preparing a traditional French feast for Christmas Eve that is sure to impress the most refined palate. Dinner starts at $110 per person. The fixed menu includes smoked salmon, monkfish braised in a lobster julienne, beef tenderloin, lobster tail and tiramisu for dessert. Make your reservation.

Old Stove Brewing – open from 11am – 4pm for Christmas Eve
Grab lunch and a beer while taking in unbeatable views of Puget Sound at Old Stove Brewing. This brewery on Western Avenue in Pike Place Market’s MarketFront is a lively, kid-friendly taproom. On the menu: Clam Bacon Chowder, Old Stove Burger, wood fire pizza, fish & chips and more!

Place Pigalle – open from 11:30am  – 2:30pm, 5pm – 7pm for Christmas Eve (last seating is at 7pm)
Place Pigalle is an intimate restaurant with a quaint old-world parlor overlooking Seattle’s Puget Sound that specializes in creating the ultimate dining experience. On the menu: French fare, including steamed mussels, bouillabaisse, onion soup, and more! Book your reservation! 

Virginia Inn – open from 10am – 3:30pm on Christmas Eve
Enjoy brunch at this historic restaurant in Pike Place Market. The Virginia Inn has been serving Seattle fine food and drink since 1903. On the menu: corned beef hash, biscuits & gravy, avocado toast, eggs benedict, and more! The best part –they have an extensive gluten-free menu.

Pike Place Market Restaurants Open on Christmas Day

IL Bistro – open from 5pm – 9:30pm a special Christmas Day dinner (last seating is at 9:30pm)
Enjoy Christmas Day in a cozy, candlelit dining room with fresh local ingredients and specialized handmade cocktails. Dinner starts at $85 per person. The fixed three-course menu includes rigatoni bolognese, salmon, grilled New York steak, tiramisu, and more. Book your reservation! 

Pike Place Market Restaurants Open on New Year’s Eve

Alibi Room – open from 11:30am – 2am on New Year’s Eve
Ring in 2023 at The Alibi Room. This cozy, dimly lit restaurant next to the Gum Wall is the perfect speakeasy to relax before the New Year’s Eve festivities. If you want to get your groove on — head to their basement bar. Just beware, that’s where the ghosts live.

Athenian Seafood Restaurant & Bar – open 11am – 6pm on New Year’s Eve
This classic restaurant inside Pike Place Market’s main arcade is a great place to relax and rejuvenate while spending the day shopping with friends and family.

Can Can Culinary Cabaret – open from 9:30am – 11pm on New Year’s Eve
The Can Can Culinary Cabaret will have a special presentation of their Wonderland show to celebrate 2023. Their New Year’s Eve show at 11pm features a special select menu and a champagne toast to celebrate 2023! Get your tickets! Or grab brunch, dinner or celebratory cocktails at The Dressing Room: Bistro and Bar By Can Can. This standalone restaurant is next to the Can Can Culinary Cabaret, and has all the charm of being at one of their live shows. Dining hours: 9:30am – 10pm.

El Borracho – open from 12pm – 11pm on New Year’s Eve
El Borracho is one of the best places in Seattle to get your Mexican food fix and they’re now serving 100% plant-based Mexican food. On the menu: massive tacos, zesty spiced chipotle “chikin”, or jackfruit cochinitas — all fresh, vegetarian takes on classic Mexican dishes.

IL Bistro – open from 5pm – 9:30pm a special New Year’s Eve dinner (last seating is at 9:30pm)

The Pink Door – open from 4pm – 1am on New Year’s Eve
Ring in the New Year at The Pink Door. Enjoy live music and a midnight countdown for this festive New Year’s Eve celebration. This fixed menu starts at $140 per person. Walk-ins of up to six people are welcome at the bar and are first come, first served. Book your reservation! 

The Rabbit Box – open from 9pm – 2am for New Year’s Eve
Join The Rabbit Box as they usher in the new year with an amazing lineup of music and a champagne toast. The Rabbit Box is a recently opened speakeasy in Pike Place Market hosting live music, literary events, live music, kids matinees, comedy acts and more. Their New Year’s Eve spectacular features: The Grizzled Mighty, Monsterwatch, Guy Keltner, 38 Coffin and DJ Sarah Savannah. Doors open at 9pm. Tickets are $40. Get your tickets now!

Virginia Inn – open from 10am – 9pm on New Year’s Eve
Enjoy brunch, lunch, and dinner at this historic restaurant in Pike Place Market. The Virginia Inn has been serving Seattle fine food and drink since 1903. On the menu: crispy Brussels sprouts, fish & chips, duck confit, and more! The best part, they have an extensive gluten-free menu.

Pike Place Market’s improv theatre Unexpected Productions is laughing in the New Year with a fast-paced comedy improv battle. 20 hilarious improvisers split up into 4 teams with the goal of making you laugh. This is an off-the-chart party that includes hats, streamers, and fun! Enjoy a special champagne toast as the ball drops at midnight. Doors open at 9pm. Get your tickets!
