About Us
Hellenika is a cultured creamery built by three siblings at Pike Place Market. We make dairy the long way, fermenting live cultures into fresh local milk, then churning it slow. Thick, tangy and alive with flavor. Every batch starts with intention.
We’re not here to chase trends. We’re here to honour the craft we grew up with. To take something simple and do it properly. Hellenika is our way of keeping old techniques alive while making something new. Seasonal. Emotional. Tied to place.
That place is here. Pike Place shapes everything we do. We steep MarketSpice tea into our mix when the grey sky rolls in. We use Sunny Honey when the bees are flying. We cook with neighbors at Atrium Kitchen because food should be shared, not just sold.
The Greek cultures we use have been in our family for generations but, the flavors are born from this street, this city, this market. Nothing we make is static. That’s the beauty of cultured food. It changes. It grows.
You’ll also find us on the food tours with Eat Seattle and Savor Seattle. Part of the “Meet the Producer” tradition the Market was built on. We’re proud to make our everything right here where you can see it, taste it and talk to the people behind it.
This shop is a tribute to everywhere that’s fed us and to the Market that keeps feeding us still.
