Angela Parriott’s lifetime of curiosity grew into her business, Coastal Elevation. Her shop provides a combination of jewelry, accessories, clothing and textiles inspired by the organic beauty found in nature.
Growing up, Angela’s grandma, dad, and uncle were some of her biggest influences as creative people in her life. Her grandmother was a traveler, painter, chef, and gardener, among many other things. Her dad practiced as a glass artist, musician, and chef. Her uncle was a jeweler and always had new ideas brewing. Having them in her life lit a creative spark of curiosity.
Currently, residing in the heart of Washington State, Angela’s studio looks out to Mount Stuart with inspiration cradling it all together. On the many adventures with her tribe, stones, plants, and textures jump out along the way asking to become art. From using leaves to make prints to growing flowers to make dyes, Mother Nature plays a huge role in all of Angela’s work.
