Dan Gregory of 1976 It’s Just Art has been sharpening his funky and animated illustrations since he began drawing at the age of 5.
Born in Seattle, Dan found inspiration in the eccentric styles of Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein. Similar to these two classics, Dan’s work pushes the boundaries of caricature graphic art.
As a teen, he was exposed to the artist Jim Phillips, who is known for his skate art. Skate art is intrinsically aligned to street art, and Dan proves that graffiti-style work and comically distorted drawings are fine art.
Dan has been selling his original artwork at Pike Place Market since 2003.
