Neighbors Sing and Celebrate to Raise Funds for Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank
Seattle, WA – The Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank presents, along with sponsors Pike Place Market PDA, WARM FM 106.9, the 38th annual Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition, Friday, December 1st from 6-8:30 p.m., featuring dozens of teams singing classic and comically revamped holiday carols. Top teams compete on the Figgy Main Stage on Pike Place for awards in Best Choral performance, Most Creative and People’s Choice. Event emcee is WARM 106.9 DJ Shelly Hart. This year’s Figmasters are Kim Holcomb and Jim Dever from KING 5’s Evening.
Holiday revelers can support the mission of the Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank by making small donations at the event. The Senior Center serves people age 55 and up and offers free activities, services and meals. While people from all walks of life visit the Senior Center, we are pioneers in welcoming elders who are homeless or getting by on very little money. Â Â The Food Bank serves people of any age, offering free groceries, ready-to-eat food for people experiencing homelessness, and home delivery service.

WHAT:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The 38th Annual Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition features dozens of caroling teams including The Beaconettes, Starbucks Chorus, Emerald City Voices and the Silver Belles; a main stage competition between the top two teams in various categories, oodles of holiday cheer.

7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Caroling Competition Finals and Award Ceremony on mainstage.
