Contest invites visitors to create their own Market Day for a chance to win prizes worth up to $500!

SEATTLE – The Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority (PDA) is excited to announce the launch of the Plan Your Market Day Contest. In this giveaway, visitors will get to explore the Market Directory and utilize the Market’s NEW online Day Planner tool. Pike Place Market has designed several easily accessible digital features to help visitors learn about the Market and find their next favorite shop, restaurant, artist or farmer, including an interactive Market Map. The Day Planner is one of the latest additions that allows visitors to create and share customized itineraries of their preferred Pike Place Market businesses.

This exciting facet of the fully integrated Pike Place Market website guides shoppers along their visit through self-curated or suggested itineraries. While browsing the new directory, shoppers can simultaneously create their Market Day by clicking on the “heart” next to each business listing. Visitors can create multiple itineraries, give them unique names and share them with friends or family either through email or social media.

On August 2, the public will vote for their favorite itineraries. Seven lucky winners will be awarded varied Pike Place Market gift cards, with a grand prize valued at $500! The top four prize recipients will also get their Market Day featured on Pike Place Market’s website.
