About Us
Tovias Magaña, owner of Magaña Farms, came to Western Washington from Mexico in the late 70s and established Magaña Farms in Sunnyside, Washington in 1986.
He grows a wide variety of stone and orchard fruits, as well as many warm-season vegetables, which thrive in Eastern Washington’s climate. Magaña Farms is located about 180 miles from the Market.
While Magaña Farms has been selling at Pike Place for over 30 years, Tovias’ dedication to getting local produce into his customers’ hands doesn’t end at the farmers market.
Magaña Farms also supplies fresh produce to multiple school districts in the state through the Washington State Department of Agriculture’s “Farm to School” program.
You can find them on the farm tables in the Market’s main arcade.
