DESCRIPTION:Saturday, March 1\nThe Triple Door presents Madeline Hawthorne and special guest, Zan Fiskum at The Rabbit Box on Saturday, March 1.\nBorn in New England, based in Bozeman Montana, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Madeline Hawthorne pens the kind of tunes you listen to on a cross-country trek to start anew or in the dead of night when you just need a reminder that somebody’s listening.\nZan Fiskum is an Americana singer-songwriter raised in the small town of Maple Valley, Washington, where she spent most of her time either running barefoot in the forest or volunteering with her family at a local dinner theater. Her angelic voice soars over her soulful and ethereal storytelling. Reminiscent of artists Laura Marling and Brandi Carlile, she blends the lines between adult contemporary and Americana/folk. She made her national debut on season 18 of NBC’s The Voice, finishing as a top 9 finalist, which spearheaded her two self-released records with over 3 million digital streams. Zan has gone on to tour nationally and open for The Avett Brothers, King Fish and Prateek Kudah, as well as share the stage with John Legend, Dave Mathews, and more\nDoors 6:30pm.
