About Us
Xai and Kher Cha started Xai C. Farm in 1995 on 2 acres in Kent, Washington. This was a dream come true for the couple who immigrated to Seattle two decades prior as refugees from the war-torn country of Laos.
The farm quickly took off growing seasonal flowers and vegetables.
“For as long as I can remember, we always grew vegetables and herbs somewhere in our yard,” recalls Xai’s daughter Mary.
Today, Xai C. Farm is managed by Mary and has expanded to 9 acres in Snohomish County, about 40 miles from the Market.
You can find Xai C. Farm on the farm tables in Pike Place Market’s main arcade.
