Meet the artists!

Carlos Mota Art
Carlos Mota is a talented visual artist based in the Seattle-Tacoma area with P’urhepecha roots (Tzintzuntzan, Michoacan). Mota uses multiple mediums to create astonishing original creations reflecting aspects of Meso-America’s indigenous cultures as well as other original creations.
He has mastered the art of Pyrography or Woodburning and currently uses this art form to create beautiful original and custom Art. Mota also takes custom orders for portraits, logos, pet art, and wood-burning jewelry.
Jennifer Elizabeth Studios
Jennifer is a watercolorist who finds inspiration from nature and all creatures in it. Jennifer joined Pike Place Market’s Handmade Craft Market in 2025 and sells her original paintings, prints, and bookmarks.
At our Live Artist Demonstrations, she will show her watercolor techniques, painting individual elements within a scene and a Pacific Northwest-themed landscape.
