Go El Grande, Go is a Seattle-based folk-punk ensemble fronted by John Goodfellow (aka “El Grande”), weaving “outsider” storytelling with rich Middle Eastern and Balkan musical textures—think tar, violin, and guitar swirling together for a hypnotic, boundary-pushing sound. Alongside John, the core lineup includes Lou Alexander on violin/bass and Shyon Babazadeh on tar and guitar, blending Irish/world music chops and Turkish traditional tones.
