About Us
Puget Sound Cider Company crafts award-winning ciders from traditional cider apples grown in their orchard near Ellensburg, Washington. Using an orchard-to-glass approach, founders Nick and Holly focus on heritage cider apples rarely found in modern cider production, creating ciders that showcase the character and complexity of the fruit itself.
The cidery began in 2017 after the pair discovered an antique cider press and started making cider for friends and family. What began as a passion project quickly grew into one of the most awarded cideries in the Pacific Northwest.
Since 2019, Puget Sound Cider Company has earned more than 80 awards at regional, national, and international competitions, including honors from the Northwest Cider Cup, Great Lakes International Cider & Perry Competition, Portland International Cider Cup, and CiderCraft Awards.
Notable achievements include:
• Best New Cidery of the Year – Portland International Cider Cup (2021)
• Best Small Cidery of the Year – Portland International Cider Cup (2021, 2022)
• Micro Cidermaker of the Year – Great Lakes International Cider & Perry Competition (2022)
• Best Small Cidery of the Year – Northwest Cider Cup (2023)
