About Us

Pike Market Child Care & Preschool serves families living and working downtown by providing high-quality early learning and care for infants and children (through five years old). Every year since its founding in 1982, approximately 90-100 families have accessed childcare on a sliding fee scale, and 70% receive tuition assistance.

At Pike Market Child Care & Preschool, children are celebrated for their competency and curiosity for learning. With intentional anti-bias teaching, enriched learning environments, and healthy nutrition programs, children are prepared for kindergarten success and beyond to become caring, confident community members.
