About Us

Heidi Anderson is a painter, illustrator, and ceramic artist who works across multiple mediums and is based on Vashon Island, Washington, originally from Seattle. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2002 and has been working in ceramics since 2012. Her practice includes sculpture, vases, painting, and drawing, created through a wide range of techniques—from watercolor and acrylic to wheel-thrown forms and hand-building. She frequently works in the Nerikomi tradition, layering and inlaying multiple colored clays to create patterns, designs, and narratives embedded directly within the material.
