Quick Training Guide: How To Redeem a Market Gift Card
1. Customer will present their card on a mobile device or printed on paper.
2. Using manual card entry, process it as MasterCard (credit card, not a gift card) and key in the 16-digit code as required by your POS system.
3. Please note: you cannot charge more than the balance, otherwise the transaction will be declined. Mobile gifts always show the current balance in the top right-hand corner of the card, preceded by “Authorized for up to”. To check balance on a printed gift, go to https://c.yiftee.com/check-gift-balance.
4. To process a payment that exceeds the eGift Card value, enter the card’s exact value first, then use another payment method for the remaining transaction amount.
