Pike Place Market Signage Project

The Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority (PDA), with the support of the PDA Council, initiated a design process in fall 2019 for three new signature neon signs at key locations within the Pike Place Market. These signs will serve as distinct visual identifiers to guide visitors to significant entry locations along Pike Place, the MarketFront, and on Western Avenue.

All new signs will be designed in a manner compatible with existing historical signature signs, including the Clock and Sign located at the Market entrance at First and Pike Place and the Public Market sign at the base of Pine Street. The design contract was awarded to National Sign, a local company responsible for some of Seattle’s most iconic signs, including many already located within the Pike Place Market.

Below is more information on the locations, designs, and opportunities for providing feedback.
