About Us

For Jeromy Amoroso, dyeing clothing has always been more than just an art form—it’s a passion that has shaped his life. As the founder of Dyeing to Live, he creates vibrant, one-of-a-kind tie-dyed clothing that blends creativity with high-quality craftsmanship.

Originally from the East Coast, Jeromy moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2015, building a new life in Seattle while overcoming major personal challenges. Tie-dye became his creative outlet and a source of renewal, eventually evolving into a thriving business. Though he has been dyeing shirts for himself and friends since the late 1990s, his journey into professional dye work began in 2012. By 2021, he started selling his designs online, followed by art festivals and local markets in Tacoma. A year later, he relocated to Seattle, where he has been selling his work for the past two years.

Jeromy takes pride in the craftsmanship behind Dyeing to Live. Each piece is made with high-quality, heavy cotton fabrics, carefully pre-washed and pre-shrunk to ensure lasting vibrancy and durability.

Beyond the craft, Jeromy values the connections he builds with customers at Pike Place Market’s Handmade Craft Market. He loves sharing his passion for tie-dye, educating curious shoppers about the techniques and history behind the art. Through Dyeing to Live, he brings bold, joyful designs to the Market while celebrating the transformative power of creative expression.
