Beloved cheesecake bakery The Confectional has partnered with two Pike Place Market farms to create mouthwatering flavors: Blueberry Bliss and Tayberry & Cream.

Both flavors quickly became best sellers at their debut in July. Try these seasonal flavors through Labor Day or before they sell out.

The partnerships were made easier through a new Bulk Buy program organized by the Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority. The program aims to connect Washington-based farmers with Market businesses to discover new approaches for local farmers to sell their produce.

Cathy Garden

Cathy Garden provided the plump and juice berries for the Blueberry Bliss seasonal cheesecake flavor. Farmer Cathy Moul is a second-generation farmer who manages a 10-acre flower and produce farm in Carnation, Washington. Cathy Garden has been selling in Pike Place Market since 2014.

Hayton Farms Berries

Hayton Farms Berries provided the tayberries used in the seasonal cheesecake flavor of Tayberry & Cream. The farm in the Skagit Valley grows certified organic raspberries, blackberries, tayberries, and loganberries. They’ve been selling in Pike Place Market and providing produce for our CSA programs since 2000.
