Join the Market as we kick off the holiday season with free Santa photos, handmade holiday shopping, craft demonstrations, live music, Market lights and more! Saturday, November 27th also marks Small Business Saturday, this holiday support your favorite small Market businesses. To celebrate our small businesses, we are offering a special shopping offer, spend $50 or more at any Market business and receive a Market wrapping paper kit.

This will be the Market’s 26th annual Magic in the Market and you don’t want to miss it! You will find holiday spirit across all 9-acres on this unforgettable day. Grab takeout from award-winning eateries, shop for the freshest ingredients in the open-air Market and find the most unique gifts! We’ve got something for everyone on your list and things to do in this nine-acre holiday wonderland. There is no place more memorable than the Market during the holidays. Bring the whole family to experience the magic; meet Santa, listen to caroling, sip some eggnog, shop for loved ones, all leading up to the famous Market lighting ceremony at 5pm.

Holiday Lights and Decorations across 9 acres
Keep your holiday tradition alive and experience the magic of the Market during the holidays. Enjoy the Market’s holiday lights and decorations all month long in December as you shop. A great photo op will be on the MarketFront in front of our Winter Wonderland scene, designed by Market Artist Graig Anderson.

Free Santa Photos (Under the Clock & Sign)
Get a free photo with Santa! Whether you’re 2 months or 88 years old, everyone is welcome. Santa will be available for photos from 11am – 4pm. Crafty, the Market mascot will also be making appearances for free photos.

Special Shopping Offer (Under the Clock & Sign) – Spend $50 or more at any Market business and receive a Market wrapping paper kit.

Giant MAGIC Photo Op (MarketFront Deck) – Take a special photo in front of our oversized MAGIC letters with Puget Sound as your background.

Live Holiday Music (Under the Clock & Sign)  – Market Buskers and holiday choirs will perform throughout the day on the Market Farm Truck.

Glass Blowing Demo (MarketFront Plaza) – Watch as Market Artist Gina Karaba makes holiday glass art in real-time.

Graig Anderson Demo & Kids Packets (MarketFront Pavilion) – Market crafter Graig will be doing a sculpting demo. The first 200 kids who stop by will receive gift bags of Crafty’s Crafts. Bonus! Graig will be designing 4 new holiday cutouts to decorate the Market and his annual holiday button.

Crafty Photos (MarketFront Pavilion) – Take a free photo with Crafty the Market’s snow monkey in the winter wonderland forest.

Treasures and Trimmings (MarketFront Pavilion) —  A holiday showcase of handmade ornaments, decorative items and treasured small gifts.

Holiday Drinks and Décor on Pike Place (Pike Place) – Select businesses will line Pike Place with holiday drinks, festive wreaths and centerpieces.

Holiday Photo Shoot (DownUnder Level 3) — Strike a pose in front of our holiday scene complete with Graig Anderson character cutouts. Grab a holiday prop and make it a moment to remember.

Market Lighting (Marketwide) – After a day of shopping step out onto Pike Place at 5pm to watch the Market illuminate with Santa.
