The Pike Place Market crafts market began more than 40 years ago and now represents 225 local and regional craftspeople. Since its beginnings in the late 60s, this dynamic and diverse group has become an integral part of the Pike Place Market community. Located in the North Arcade, the daily crafts market provides the opportunity to discover unique, local and handcrafted items and is one of the largest and most diverse in the U.S.

Take time to explore the many tables of crafts that line the Main and North Arcade. Discover one-of-a-kind fiber and fashion accessories and apparel, pottery, glass and metal sculpture, objects of tiles and stone, painting, jewelry and leather goods. There are toys, puzzles, and natural herbal products and body care made from local ingredients. You’ll also find musical instruments, kitchenware and even longboards crafted from sustainable hardwoods. All items are handcrafted and have been screened to ensure that they meet the Market's rigorous guidelines for handmade products.

The crafts market changes daily as craftspeople set up and take down their table displays at the beginning and end of each day. Stroll through the arcade and meet the artisans behind the work on display. Hear about the artistic process, the materials used and the craft applied to each and every unique piece.

From our Crafts Market Community: Pike Place Producers

The Pike Place Producers is an independent group of craftspeople organized to support the crafts producers through social media marketing opportunities. They also provide a forum for Market shoppers and fans of craft to learn more about the Market, the Market's artists, and their products. The group has a blog and a Facebook page.
