Farm Days on the Cobblestones Start Saturday, June 6

Did you know that the Pike Place Market is the city's (and perhaps the nation's) only daily farmers market? Farmers can sell in the Market's arcades 362 days a year, but each summer brings special days when they sell in tents that line Pike Place. This creates more selling space to give customers more choices and diversity. This year, those special selling days are called Farm Days on the Cobblestones: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays starting June 6 through the end of September.

If you know Seattle, then this isn’t exactly a secret: the best value in beautiful, farm-fresh bouquets can be found seven-days-a-week during growing season at Pike Place Market. Stroll the Market day tables from under the clock to the North end of the Arcade to check out the full array of floral options before deciding on that perfect bunch of garden-grown beauties. Stoney Plains Organic Farm

Stoney Plains Organic Farm is back for another season! Stoney Plains sells on Wednesdays outside near City Fish. Carrots, chard, spinach, salad mix, arugula, Jerusalem artichokes, radishes and baby greens are among what's available now. Look for strawberries and sugar snap peas in about two weeks, weather permitting.

Tiny’s Organic

Tiny’s blenders are fired-up and making some of best pure-fruit smoothies, bar-none.  Tiny’s smoothies do not contain powders, fillers or any other mystery ingredients.  Just, frozen organic fruit (frozen fruit instead of ice cubes), organic apple cider and Tiny’s own “fruit booster” made from pluots.  Everything grown on the family farm.

What's New around the Market

New on the farmtables is nitrate-free beef jerky, pepperoni and summer sausage from the Gradwohl family's Happy Mountain Miniature Cattle Farm. The farm is located in Covington.

The Gradwohl family beef jerky is so delicious that it’s hard not to eat the whole package in one sitting.  Not only is it immediately apparent that the beef is top quality, but it has the perfect moisture content and spicing.

What I love about Gradwohl’s beef is that they love their cattle and are passionate about their product.
