PIKE PLACE MARKET CONSTITUENCY
Established in the 1973 charter, the Pike Place Market Constituency exercises the public's oversight of the Market. The Constituency works to keep Market management responsible and accountable, and acts as an advisory and lobbying group to both the PDA and the Seattle City Council. The Constituency elects one member to the PDA Council each year.
Constituency membership is open to anyone who lives in Washington State, is 16 years old or older, and pays $1 yearly dues. Membership registration cards are available at the PDA office or http://ppmconstituency.org/join.shtml. Additional information about the Constituency--such as meeting schedules, minutes and bylaws--is also available at http://ppmconstituency.org.
