Low-Cost Annual Orca Pass for Market Employees
Effective August 1, 2017, the PDA will end the ORCA Business Passport Card program we’ve offered to Market community members. We understand the popularity of this program, but in light of budget realities, the PDA is not in a position to continue ongoing subsidies.
We invite Market business owners to contact Commute Seattle at 206.613.3242 for public transportation solutions. Individuals can visit www.orcacard.com or call 888.988.6722 for ORCA Card pricing. The ORCA Lift program offers income qualified riders reduced fares in King County (visit www.orcalift.com or call 206.553.3000 for more information). We have returned Early Bird pricing to The Market Parking Garages for $13 every day for those who enter by 9 a.m. and leave before 9 p.m.
Daystall Rules and Regulations
Each year, the PDA conducts a public review process of the Daystall Rules and Regulations, which cover all daystall activities for farmers, craftspeople and performers in the Market. During this time, anyone in the Market community or any member of the public may submit rule change proposals and/or may offer comment on existing rule change proposals. Proposals are reviewed by staff and the PDA Council. Daystall rule change proposals must be submitted to the Daystall Department on the Daystall Rule Change Proposal Form by 5pm, Friday January 12, 2018.
Questions about the annual Daystall Rules Review process may be directed to David Dickinson, Daystall and Arts Program Manager, at 206.774.5224 or email@example.com.
Co-op Advertising Program
Stretch your advertising dollars by participating in the PDA’s Co-op Advertising Program. PDA commercial and daystall merchants in good standing who create, purchase and pay in full for individual advertising projects for their Market business in 2018 can be reimbursed 50% of advertising cost (up to $700 annually for commercial businesses and $350 annually for daystall businesses), while funds remain. Reimbursement is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Requests for reimbursements and questions about the program may be directed to Kalyn Kinomoto, Communications and Marketing Associate, at 206.774.5259 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
