Acclaimed Seattle flutist Paul Taub will present a solo recital of new and international works, “Landscape With Birds.” Taub taught for many years at Cornish College for the Arts and plays with the Seattle Chamber Players. He has commissioned works for flute and championed works by such composers as Peteris Vasks and Toru Takemitsu, whose compositions will be featured in the program. A work by Whidbey Island composer Janice Giteck will display all four of Taub’s instruments in one work.
